Butterfinger Cookies

In case anyone has missed it, I’m kind of obsessed with the blog Sally’s Baking Addiction. She is the genius behind several recipes I have recreated, including the Nutella Stuffed Cinnamon Sugar Muffins I posted a few days ago. Well, she has outdone herself again with the Butterfinger Cookies.

My favorite day of the year is Halloween. I found this recipe on her blog and was excited to use leftover Halloween candy for the recipe and then I remembered two things:

1. I’m an adult and I don’t trick-or-treat.

2. I wouldn’t have 1, let alone 8, leftover baby Butterfingers needed for this.

So I just went ahead and made them now.

Recipe: Butterfinger Cookies

Makes a little over 2 dozen cookies

What You Need:

1 egg

1 3/4 cup flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup sugar

8 fun-sized Butterfinger candy bars

1 stick butter

What To Do:

1. Preheat oven to 375.

2. Combine all ingredients together, saving butterfingers for last.

3. Spoon dough onto cookie sheet.

4. Bake for 11 minutes.
