Today is National Banana Bread Day! There are so many “National Food Days” that it is hard to keep track. However, I won’t be celebrating today’s holiday by baking. Why, you ask?
Because it’s my birthday!
I may look like I am 17, but I promise you I am legally allowed to drink the ice cold beverage above.
That is why I made it last night to celebrate National Margarita Day.
It is super simple to make. You just load everything into your blender and pulse until smooth. Go ahead, celebrate my birthday and make yourself a drink in my honor. I won’t tell anyone 🙂
Recipe: Frozen Strawberry-Mango Margaritas adapted from Cookie Monster Cooking
Makes 3 servings
What You Need:
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- 3 ounces tequila
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 ounce Triple Sec
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 cup ice cubes
- What To Do:
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse until completely smooth. Pour into glasses and serve!
