Tuxedo Strawberries

Did you watch the Emmy’s this weekend? I did. I rooted for shows like Breaking Bad & Modern Family and although I watched the show in my sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt, I made this elegant strawberries to make it feel like a black-tie affair. They’re extremely simple, but if you’re a perfectionist like me the bow ties may drive you crazy.

Recipe: Tuxedo Strawberries

What You Need:

1 container strawberries

1 tub (7 oz.) Baker’s White dipping chocolate

1 tub (7 oz.) Baker’s Milk Chocolate Dipping Chocolate.

What To Do:

1. Dip 3/4 of each strawberry in the white chocolate. Lay on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. Refrigerate 1 hour.

2. Melt Milk Chocolate.

3. Place each berry into chocolate, leaving a white V in the center.

4. Using a toothpick, dab on 3 dots to make a button and draw a bow-tie on the white chocolate portion.

Simple, yet fancy!
